Assessment for obtaining a certificate:
It is necessary to complete 80% attendance and actively participate in classes to receive a graduation certificate. At the end of the course, there will be a short review of the course material.
For whom: The course is designed for adults who are starting to learn English from scratch and want to communicate in simple, everyday situations.
Objectives: The goal is to introduce the basics of English — the alphabet, simple words and sentences, essential verbs and phrases for daily communication. Participants will learn to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple questions, and gain confidence in speaking and understanding English.
The course will cover the following topics: • the English alphabet and pronunciation, • basic vocabulary and questions: What is your name? Where are you from? • greetings and polite expressions, • personal pronouns and basic verbs: to be, can, • days of the week, numbers, and simple dates, • practice in reading, listening, and speaking simple English, • useful words and questions for everyday use.
Additional information:
Teaching is conducted in clear, simple English with an emphasis on active participation. Pictures, audio recordings, pair and group exercises, and short dialogues are used to develop speaking and comprehension skills.

Objectives: The goal is to build fluency in simple conversations, improve grammar and vocabulary knowledge, and increase confidence in using English in daily life situations.
The course will cover the following topics: • plural nouns – rules and examples, • the verb have got – talking about family, possessions, and appearance, • possessive pronouns and adjectives, • present tenses: Present Simple and Present Continuous, • adverbs of frequency and time expressions, • vocabulary related to family, routines, and appearance, • reading, listening, and speaking practice at a pre-intermediate level.
Additional information: Teaching focuses on active participation and communication through dialogues, listening, reading, and group activities. The grammar content is adapted to the group’s level and connected to real-life situations.
